Aside from the fact that typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines ravaged so many houses and crops and left hundreds of thousands homesless and pennyless, the news had it that house and lot in Marikina were rendered low on sale.

It was reported after Ondoy striken the area heavily that even prestigious villages in a village in Marikina cannot be sold on their premium price. While a house and lot for sale in Marikina would cost 1.5 M pesos, you can no longer sell it at even 500 thousand.

The reason is obvious, it was ravaged be the typhoon flood rendering the real estate in Philippines in many provinces become way low than expected. I hope we can all recover from this tragedy that strike us all Filipinos.
