Philippines :

Among the 3 ICRC workers who were abducted by the Abu Sayyaf leader Albader Parad and his men in Sulu, one was finally released yesterday.

The Red Cross worker released among the list Eugenio Vagni, Mary Jane Lacaba and Andreas Notter, Mary Jane Lacaba was release with the help of continued negotiations with the abductors.

The other captives were hoped to be released also soon but it seems that the Abu Sayyaf is looking for some ransom to do that.

There were reports that there were already down the line backdoor negotiations being done to free the two remaining captives.

No information yet has been out since the last time the Sulu vice Governor responsible for fetching Mary Jane was reportedly there to witness and pick up the freed captive.
