Although rumors had it and nothing is confirmed, the opinions were split regarding the release of the Filipina ICRC worker abducted by Muslim separatist (terrorist) Abu Sayyaf.
According to the news report today at ABS-CBN, a local news network in the Philippines, they have papers to prove that the bandits who kidnapped 3 ICRC workers were asking for a 5 million dollar ransom from the ICRC.
This report is not confirmed but the local news network got a copy of the alleged ransom demand in white paper given by some sources to the news anchors. As of now, the Philippine National Red Cross vows that there is no ransom involved in the release of the Filipina.
Meanwhile, 2 more left as captives by the Abu Sayyaf that generated a lot of speculations that this is because of the big possibility that they could still get money from the 2 last ICRC foreign nationals who were still held captive by the bandits in Mindanao. - Tnomeralc Web Toys
